About
A marketplace for human value.
Someone has a camera. Someone has a restaurant. Someone can tattoo. Someone can design. Someone can train. Someone can build websites. Someone needs content.
Cambulance asks two questions — what do you need? and what do you have to offer? — and then works out the most efficient way to connect the two.
The problem is timing, not talent
Someone is at a birthday party and realises nobody is capturing it. A restaurant has a dish worth filming tonight. A performer walks a red carpet in an hour. The moment is happening now, and the usual options — scroll Instagram, post on a job board, ask a friend — all answer in days.
The other half of the problem is that “hire a content creator” is too vague to order. So Cambulance turns it into something you can actually buy: a category, a production tier, a duration, a format, a deliverable, a turnaround. Six answers and a price that itemises itself.
Two ways in
Book
Get someone who can.
A verified creator on the scene, with equipment you can actually check. Now, today, or scheduled. Your card is authorised when you book and charged when the session ends — for the time actually worked.
Book a creatorBarter
Trade something you can do.
No cash? Trade. List what you offer and what you need, and the matching engine looks for the person whose answers mirror yours. Agree, and the platform writes the agreement.
Explore barterYou are not ordering “some guy with a camera”
Every creator registers their actual kit, and every tier is a verified equipment package. You know the level of production you are buying before anyone arrives.
Mobile Creator
Professional content captured on an approved premium smartphone. Best for TikTok, Instagram, BTS, lifestyle, restaurants and fast social content.
Pro Creator
Professional mirrorless/DSLR, pro lenses, stabilization and audio. Best for interviews, events, brand campaigns and higher-quality social content.
Pro+ / Cinema Creator
Higher-end camera package, professional lighting, audio and advanced production. Best for commercials, music videos, premium events and documentaries.
The part that matters
One reputation, both halves
Underneath booking and barter sits the same spine: verified identity, reputation, a Trust Score, and a transaction history that travels with you. Do a paid shoot and a trade, and both count toward the same profile.
Only people who completed a verified transaction with you can review you, and the review asks specific questions rather than for a number out of five — did they deliver what was promised, was the value description accurate, would you work with them again. A new account shows New, not zero, because unrated and distrusted are not the same claim.
- Verified
- Identity, equipment and portfolio are checked before anyone is dispatched.
- Accountable
- Arrival and session end are both confirmed by both parties.
- Portable
- Your Trust Score is yours, across paid work and trades alike.
Nobody starts the clock alone
Billable time is the thing people argue about, so neither side controls it. The creator marks their arrival and you confirm it — only then does the clock start. The same happens at the end.
- 01
Creator arrives
They press “I arrived.” Nothing is running yet.
- 02
You confirm
The session starts, and the timer is visible to both of you.
- 03
Either can end it
One side ends, the other confirms, and billable time is fixed.
- 04
Delivered, then rated
Footage lands on the turnaround you paid for. Then you rate each other.
Capture and editing are priced separately, always. You are paying someone to show up and shoot for a set time; edited reels and a faster turnaround are add-ons you choose, itemised before you book. Read more about how we handle safety and location.
This is not an Uber clone for videographers, and it is not Craigslist barter. It is a marketplace where money, skills, equipment, creativity and professional services can all be forms of value.
Pay for it. Or trade for it.
Built by the team.
